Refund Policy

1. Overview

oneBot operates on a monthly subscription billing model. You choose a plan (Starter, Basic, Premium, or Enterprise) per account, billed monthly. On top of your subscription, AI usage is billed via credits based on the AI provider and skill used.

This Refund Policy explains how this model works and under what circumstances refunds may be issued.

2. How Billing Works

  • Your subscription is billed monthly in advance through your oneBot dashboard
  • AI usage — the actions your bot performs — is tracked and billed via credits based on the AI provider and skill used
  • All charges are transparent and tracked in real time in your dashboard
  • You can set spending limits for AI usage to stay in control at all times

3. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

EU consumers: If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of purchase, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU. For full details, including the model withdrawal form, see our Widerrufsbelehrung / Cancellation Policy.

Early expiry for digital content: Because oneBot is a digital service that begins immediately upon purchase, the right of withdrawal expires early if you have (a) expressly consented to performance beginning before the withdrawal period ends, and (b) acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal upon commencement of performance. This consent is obtained during the checkout process.

4. Subscription Refund Policy

Subject to the EU withdrawal right described above, subscriptions provide immediate access to the platform, hosting, and support. Upon subscription activation, dedicated server resources (bot hosting, messenger connections, skill slots) are immediately provisioned for your account. Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period once the withdrawal right has expired or been waived through consent to immediate performance.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you retain full access until then.

In short: Your subscription covers the current month and triggers immediate server provisioning. AI credits are consumed for actions already performed. Neither can be reversed once delivered or consumed.

5. AI Credit TopUps

AI credits (TopUps) are digital content that is immediately credited to your account upon purchase. By purchasing credits, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires upon crediting. AI credits do not expire.

Unused credits remain in your account indefinitely and can be used at any time. Credits are non-refundable once credited to your account.

6. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. as our payment service provider. Foxx – Verein zur Förderung einer zukunftsorientierten Lebenskultur is the seller of record and the contracting party. In the event of a valid refund, the refund will be issued by Foxx – Verein zur Förderung einer zukunftsorientierten Lebenskultur via Stripe using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction.

7. Exception: Billing Errors

We will issue a full or partial refund if a verifiable billing error has occurred on our end. This includes:

  • Being charged more than once for the same billing period
  • A subscription charge after a valid cancellation
  • A technical error in our billing system that resulted in an incorrect charge

If you believe a billing error has occurred, please contact us within 30 days of the transaction. We will investigate and, if confirmed, process a refund within 14 business days.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for a billing error, contact us with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • The date and amount of the transaction in question
  • A brief description of the issue

We aim to acknowledge every refund request within 3 business days and resolve it within 14 business days.

9. Account Closure

If you close your account, your subscription ends at the close of the current billing period. Any outstanding AI usage charges will be settled. No partial refunds are issued for remaining days in the billing cycle.

We recommend reviewing your billing dashboard before closing your account.

10. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation. We encourage you to reach out to us directly so we can resolve any billing concerns quickly and fairly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users via email and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

12. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of Austria and forms part of our Terms of Service. For full legal details, see our Imprint.
